Everything you need to know before moving
- Pack everything you can into moving boxes, boxes must be stackable (leave approx. 10 cm of air)
- Feel free to write on the short side of the moving box, kitchen, bathroom, etc.
- Softer items such as quilts, pillows are placed in garbage bags
- Put away cords, keys to cupboards (put in a type of freezer bag)
- Carpets roll up and tape
- Paintings are taken down from the wall
- We bring plants. Pack in an open moving box. However, we do not guarantee plants due to cold.
- Do you have storage? go down and see if anything is to be thrown. Also make sure things are in moving boxes
- Otherwise, you prepare as best you can and use common sense
- The movers take care of all carrying and protect all furniture during transport.
- At the new address, the movers bring in and place furniture in the new home (rough furniture).
- If you have missed filling in the position that you want help with on the day of the move, we will of course sort it out.
- If you pack personal belongings in moving boxes yourself, use common sense.
- Write on the short side of the box what it contains.
- Do not pack the box completely full as it must be able to be lifted and also placed on top of each other.
- If books are packed, fill the box to a maximum of 40% unless it is a smaller book box intended for books.
- Soft things such as quilts, pillows are packed in garbage bags.
- Plants require an open box, however, we cannot guarantee the well-being of the plants due to their sensitivity.
- Please put cords, remote controls and keys to cupboards in a bag.
- Keep in mind that the insurance does not cover personal belongings you packed yourself (a rule that applies to all moving companies), insurance of course applies if the truck collides.
- You will receive an estimated moving price immediately.
- A mover looks over your offer a little more carefully and sets a price.
- All prices are subject to reservation if we are fully booked.

- Local removals are preferably booked 2-3 weeks before the move and longer removals 4-6 weeks before.
- Preferably earlier for good planning, especially for longer joint transport.
- If you need to book your move at short notice, we will do everything to find a quick solution.
- Local moves usually start at 08.00 or 13.00 (after 13.00 there may be delays, this will be announced in good time).
- When booking, a booking confirmation with current terms and conditions is always sent.
- Always stated in the booking confirmation, not changed on the day of the move.
- Private individuals pay with Swish or card on the day of the move against a receipt.
- Companies are billed 30 days. Usual credit check is done.
- If floating services are paid for by the municipality/social services, the administrator needs to email an approval before booking.
- If a complaint/damage occurs on the day of the move, the payment terms will not change as damages are handled by insurance companies.

- or local & national moves: Cancellations later than 5 days after confirmed booking (via e-mail) 25% of total price is charged.
- When moving abroad: Which requires more planning, cancellation must take place no later than 24 hours after receipt of booking confirmation.
- Cancellation 48 hours before moving is charged with 100% of the moving cost.
- Cancellation fee: 7 days due date after cancellation.
If you have a change you want to make in good time in the order, we will be happy to help you with it. This is more so that we don’t get cancellations at the last minute, as everyone moving requires good planning. We have no chance to add a new booking at short notice.
- Rut deduction goes to your social security number and is deducted directly upon payment.
- We request route deductions from the tax authority on your social security number. (not ROOT ).
- Do not approve route deductions from the tax authority, you will be charged the difference.
- Costs for customs documents and handling from/to Norway/Switzerland are added. We cooperate with KGH Custom Service www.kghcustoms.com
- You can resolve customs documents with the customs service >> free of charge
- If we have not received complete documents and have to wait at customs, SEK 1,000 will be added in customs handling.
- Always put away securities, gold/diamond jewelery and money or other items of high value.
- Tell the removal staff if you have items/furniture with high value/affectionate value so we can handle this extra carefully.
- Notify us if you have individual items with a value that exceeds a base amount (base amount 2023 = SEK 53,500)
- When we leave a price with shared transport, it means that you are sharing with other transport, delays may occur but will be communicated in time.
- Shared transport requires flexibility with dates & times.
- It is important that you specify exactly what is being moved if the price is to be correct.
- Excess volume is charged as an additional service.
- Claims must be reported no later than 7 days after the service has been performed via e-mail.
- Submit with a picture of the damage, receipt for the item, verified daily value or whether the item can be repaired.
- Claims handling is handled by our insurance company Trygg Hansa.
- Payment is always made according to the agreement, no price deductions are made on the day of the move.
- Deficiencies in moving cleaning are reported to us immediately so that we have the opportunity to remedy them.

To think of:
- Pack yourself, the insurance does not apply to goods packed in moving boxes (unless we collide, of course)
- If you have furniture/items that exceed 1 base amount (2023 SEK 53,500) it must be stated otherwise the compensation can never be higher
- We collaborate with subcontractors throughout Sweden.
- If damage occurs, the claim is made directly against the person to whom you made the payment.
